• Submission of
Expression of Interest
• Receiving an Invitation to apply
• Submission of Application
Though the lodging of an Expression of Interest (EOI) is
considered to be simple, it is a point-based assessment which follows certain
formalities.
Submission of Expression of Interest: The candidate has to score
at least 60 points in order to submit his EOI; also he/she has to elaborate
interested skilled migration categories. The points are provided on various
factors such as basic personal information, details of nominated occupation,
work experience,
Receiving an Invitation to apply: The Invitation to apply (ITA)
are issued to candidates who are having a good rank and points against the points
test factors for General Skilled Migrant Visa.
Submission of Application: After receiving an ITA, the candidate
has 60 days timeframe to lodge a visa application through Skillselect – the
online process. Lodging an application after 60 days is not considered.
Therefore, a candidate can get invited by the government of
Australia with the nomination done by the employer or a state or territory
after submission of EOI through SkillSelect.
