Canada is a great country for professionals. Canada provides
a wide range of opportunities for various professionals. It also provides a lot
of Canadian immigration
options for nurses. So, to get qualified, he/she has to be a skilled worker
through any of the economic immigration program.
What are the ways to migrate Canada as a nurse?
Canada provides four ways of migration to Canada, they are:
Express Entry
Quebec Immigration
Provincial Nominee Programs
Study-2-Immigrate
Express Entry System:
Candidates belonging for the nurse profession can start
their journey with Express Entry
under the Federal Skilled Worker Program. They need to score a minimum of 67
out of 100 points, and the points are based on various factors such as age,
education, work experience and language efficiency. After being qualified, the
candidate can submit the profile under the Express entry pool. Based on the
Highest ranking and Comprehensive Ranking System, candidates in the pool are
provided with Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to Canada.
For a nurse, the minimum IELTS score requirement is 6.0 in each
of the four language abilities. But an overall of 67 points is mandatory for
being eligible for Canada.
Quebec Immigration:
For the Quebec
immigration program, nurses have to get scored a minimum of 50 points
in the Quebec Selection Grid. After being eligible, they need to file their
application.
There are even few benefits which are better than the
Express Entry System:
·
There is no restriction for IELTS score
·
Educational Credential Assessment for the degree
is not needed
·
There is no need of showing funds
Provincial Nomination
Programs:
These are the programs which run with the partnership
between the federal government and provincial government. PNPs are also a good
option for nurse profession. If a candidate
under the federal Express Entry pool receives a nomination from any province,
then is provided with an additional 600 points which is an assurance to receive
an ITA.
Study-2-Immigrate:
The candidate can start as an international student to build
the career with nursing degree. As there aren’t any stable rules for
immigration programs, having a Canadian degree is always beneficial to migrate
to Canada.
