3900 Invitations To Express Entry Candidates Through Latest Draw

According to the Canada Express Entry latest draw held on 15th November, there was a 3,900 Invitation to apply for Canada PR issued to the candidates of Express Entry. With this draw, the complete invitations provided by the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) for the year 2018 reaches to 78,100.

This is a rare Express Entry draw on 15th November 2018, which invited candidates having their minimum CRS score (Comprehensive Ranking System Score) of 449. Also, the total number of the invitations issued by the IRCC for the year 2018 is very near to the absolute ITAs score of the previous year, i.e. it is just 8000 ITAs away for breaking the record.

The Express Entry is an electronic process introduced by the CIC and IRCC in 2015 for erasing the errors occurred within the previous immigration system. From the launch, the Express Entry has been providing a significant approach for the candidates planning for Canada Permanent Residency.

The system consists of three economic immigration programs, namely: Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trade Class. Since the system is a point system, candidates need a minimum 67 points for eligibility. The eligible candidates enter into the Express Entry Pool. Here, candidates are placed based on their highest score.

As, the draw declared with a minimum score of 449, the candidates having their CRS score 449 above received an ITA. However, it used a tie-break rule; the time and date was 12:41:42 UTC, and 16th September 2018 respectively. The draw score of the latest draw was 7 points higher than the before draw conducted on 29th October 2018.

It is observed that the maximum time allowed between the draws, increases the chances of having a raise in the Comprehensive Ranking System Score. When compared to the latest draw, it was conducted after seventeen days of the previous draw, which is a longer time gap than the regular two-week period.

Ways to improve your CRS Score:
There are a number of ways for a candidate to increase their CRS score. Among the many options, the most popular option is the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Candidates who get selected through any of the PNP program receive a nomination certificate and extra 600 points towards the CRS score. Thus, the score is increased and the candidates are now guaranteed for receiving an ITA for Canadian PR.
Among the many PNP Programs, Express Entry-aligned PNPs in, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and British Columbia turned up with extreme opportunities with active approach for the year 2018.Also, the Province Ontario with its three Express Entry-linked streams accounted 95% of nominations by the province.

From 5th  September 2018,  the IRCC continued the same trend of 3,900 draw size. It is fortunate that the increase in the draw sizes 1resulted 11,700 ITAs record for October and when comparing to the previous year, it is over the double of the ITAs of the month October.

Since, the admission targets, the IRCC targets 2018 with 74,900 skilled candidates under the Federal High Skilled immigration as Canada PR’s. Also, under the multi-year immigration levels plan announced on 31st October, the target grew to 81,400 candidates in 2019; 85,800 candidates in 2020 and 88,800 candidates in 2021. The most of the candidates who have processed from the Federal High Skilled category have their applications launched through the federal Express Entry system.
Hence, to be one of the Skilled Immigrant introduced under the multi-year immigration level plan, start your eligibility check and launch your application through the Federal Express Entry System.

Still Not Received An ITA? How To Improve Your Chances?

The CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) has recently issued an latest update, as per the update, nearing to 80% of the visa applications are processed in less than 6 months time, after the applicant has got an ITA( Invitation to Apply).

Below you can find details, as to how the authorities process the visa after an individual's creates an Express Entry (EE) profile and what could lead to delay in visa processing.

The selection criteria to receive an Canada Invitation to Apply (ITA)
All those individuals who have got the cutoff CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score needed for the Express Entry  draw would be eligible to receive Canada PR. Canada immigration sends them  ITA's  through regular draws. In some cases, the candidates have lower score then the cutoff score needed for sending an invite for the Express Entry draw. If the Express Entry profile has been created more than a year, due to lower score, the candidates were unable to receive an invite, in those scenarios, they must create new Express Entry profile. The reason why they must take this action is because the earlier profile would have been expired automatically.  If these candidates do not create a new profile, it would result in delay in getting their visa approved.

The candidates must also remember a significant point, if they have got an ITA, it is not an guarantee they would be receiving Canada PR. Numerous procedures have to be undertaken, more importantly the candidates  after receiving ITA, they must respond within the stipulated time.

How to improve the CRS Score?
The candidates can improve their CRS score by below steps
·         By attaining more proficiency in language(English and Canada Preferred)
·         Gain more work experience
·         Increase in  education qualification

For the period of 2018 to 2020, Canada immigration plan has been revealed, ending 2020, the  nation aims to have nearing to 9, 80,000 new Canada PR holders. The lowest score witnessed for the year 2018 till now for Express Entry draw was around 440. Even though the score is not high but still some of them have not got an invite. These candidates can look out for other alternatives such as Provincial Nomination Program, if they are unable to meet the requirement for Express Entry Program.
