Also, the total number of the invitations issued by the IRCC for the year 2018 is very near to the absolute ITAs score of the previous year, i.e. it is just 8000 ITAs away for breaking the record.

The Express Entry is an electronic process introduced by the CIC and IRCC in 2015 for erasing the errors occurred within the previous immigration system. From the launch, the Express Entry has been providing a significant approach for the candidates planning for Canada Permanent Residency.

Since, the admission targets, the IRCC targets 2018 with 74,900 skilled candidates under the Federal High Skilled immigration as Canada PR’s. Also, under the multi-year immigration levels plan announced on 31st October, the target grew to 81,400 candidates in 2019; 85,800 candidates in 2020 and 88,800 candidates in 2021. Still Not Received An ITA? How To Improve Your Chances?

The CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) has recently issued an latest update, as per the update, nearing to 80% of the visa applications are processed in less than 6 months time, after the applicant has got an ITA( Invitation to Apply).

Below you can find details, as to how the authorities process the visa after an individual's creates an Express Entry (EE) profile and what could lead to delay in visa processing.

The selection criteria to receive an Canada Invitation to Apply (ITA)
All those individuals who have got the cutoff CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score needed for the Express Entry  draw would be eligible to receive Canada PR. Canada immigration sends them  ITA's  through regular draws. In some cases, the candidates have lower score then the cutoff score needed for sending an invite for the Express Entry draw. If the Express Entry profile has been created more than a year, due to lower score, the candidates were unable to receive an invite, in those scenarios, they must create new Express Entry profile. The reason why they must take this action is because the earlier profile would have been expired automatically.  If these candidates do not create a new profile, it would result in delay in getting their visa approved.

The candidates must also remember a significant point, if they have got an ITA, it is not an guarantee they would be receiving Canada PR. Numerous procedures have to be undertaken, more importantly the candidates  after receiving ITA, they must respond within the stipulated time.

How to improve the CRS Score?
The candidates can improve their CRS score by below steps
·         By attaining more proficiency in language(English and Canada Preferred)
·         Gain more work experience
·         Increase in  education qualification

For the period of 2018 to 2020, Canada immigration plan has been revealed, ending 2020, the  nation aims to have nearing to 9, 80,000 new Canada PR holders. The lowest score witnessed for the year 2018 till now for Express Entry draw was around 440. Even though the score is not high but still some of them have not got an invite. These candidates can look out for other alternatives such as Provincial Nomination Program, if they are unable to meet the requirement for Express Entry Program.
